Environmental problems of Kayseri will be discussed in this public hall. Mostly, waste will be the focus along with the other environmental problems. There will be upcycling workshops in order to attract people to site. The exhibition of the outcomes of this workshop is located at the entrance of the workshop unit. Moreover, there will be a R&D lab to produce new materials out of waste. Moreover, the making process of these parametric installations will be done by public in both closed and open workshop areas. Building is consisting of eight units. It is scattered in the ground floor of the building i order to make it permeable. It ensures the movement of people from park to the city. The units are bounded in upper level via bridges. Auditorium is connected with the park through pivot walls. Moreover, building has meeting room unit that is suitable for both small and collective gatherings. Building has several lounges in various sizes to provide relaxing spaces for people. Administration, NGO's, designers and mostly public will use this public hall. Relation with the park is provided by series of public stairs that includes seating areas engaged with green. Entrance is from the Almer side which most of the pedestrians are coming from. Materials of the building are ecofriendly. The portal-frame superstructure is made from cross-laminated timber. Cladding of that building is rockpanel which is sustainable and made from basalt. Other part of the building is cladded with the thermally modified wood cladding.
