Every group living in the city has a compulsory or willing connection with its environment. Therefore, there are some problems created by this life together. In this building, which I have designed as a term project, it will be ensured that the residents of the city can solve their common or different problems with their own ideas and sustainable methods, thanks to this area. The conference hall connected to the environment in the design will allow for wide-ranging activities.
And the design idea based on do-it-yourself urbanism will create a general awareness in the city.
In the project, there are do-it-yourself work areas connected to the park on the ground floor. In addition, it has a conference hall with openable walls and a system that can work in connection with the environment. There is also a cafe under the urban canopy, which intersects with Mimar Sinan park, which is the breathing area of the city. On the +4.00 floor, there are offices, city council rooms and a co-working space. And there is a library that can be accessed from all areas within the building and for those who come directly from outside.
With the effect of the urban canopy, the intersection point of the park and the designed building turns into a fun transition and activity area. In addition, the canopy slightly breaks the effect of the western lights.
